$5,000 Soit.On Saturday night, July 11, Sherman and Harrison Cook, brothers living at Hope, brutally assaulted Ed Cook, a cousin. Harrison was brought before Judg^ Robbins and fined $22 and cost, which was stayed. Yesterday Ed Cook brought suit in the circuit court through his attorney, M. D. Emig, against Sherman and Harrison Cook for $5,000. damages, claiming that he was permanently injured so that he could not work and had to pay out money for doctor bills, $5,000 would be no more than his just due.
