* ____PETER WILLIAMSON,A Member of a Gang of Tough Characters,Arrested Today.Mr. Lowmaa, the proprietor of the Fountain saloon and restaurant on South Sixth street sent word to the police headquarters a little before noon today concerning three men ■who were attempting to sell a fine watch in this place. He also stated that they tried to sell Mrs. Lowman a bolt of silk which they said they did not ha?e with them, but could soon procure it.Officer Timothy Murphy was detailed to look up the parties. He followed them from place to place in the West End, and finally corralled a couple of them. One of the men he turned over to a man whom he called to his assistance. This one, however, made his escape. Murphy landed his man at the prison shortly after noon. The individual gave his name as Peter Williamson. The whole gang has probably been implicated in a burglary at some point
