fore remanded to jail.Mayor’s Court—Mayor Mayo presiding—Thursday Morning.—Bettie Garland, mulatto, charged with keeping a house of ill-fame, was arraigned. In the absence of witnesses for the Commonwealth the case was continued until today.A number of cyprians were arraigned for keeping and being inmates of a houseof ill-fame.
