Alberti Waidt, who lives about nine miles south of LeMais, was arrested on Saturday evening at about 8:30 on a warrant sworn out by Ira L. Morehouse, charging him with having stolen a whip frun the Plymouth county feed yard. Walt and his brother-in-law protested that Waldr. would not steal a whip, but Morehouse said that the whip was In Waldt’s buggy when he was driving out. Mayor Linden tined Waldt $1 and Goats. Waldt protested that hewas innocent and offered to pay lorthe whip. •. *
