Tucker found the trail at the mouth of the lane, and was following it on loot into the woods, and had gone aUnit one hundred yard* when Sergeant NeviU, who was in hailing distance, called him, lie innne* diatelv answered the call ami they proceeded about one hundred yard* further when they came upon a man under a tiee with his left hand raised in token of surrender.
