ftCrThe large carpenter and joiner shop on Pearl street, near Water, the property of the estate ofMason C. Fitch, and occupied by S. P. Woodruff, j was destroyed by fire about ten o’clock last night. The loss of Mr. Woodruff is estimated at about 8500. It was undoubtedly set on fire by an incendiary, as there had been no fire about the premises,and two previous attempts had been made to burn it down.t(
