Mountainair expects soon to become a definite part of^ lt;the filming industry in New Mexico. Chamber of Commerce President Casey Luna has been in touch recently with Peter Cornberg of Command Productions in Santa Fe about making movies other than in the Santa Fe area, and this week Cornberg made a visit to Mountainair.They definitely are looking at this area according to Luna as well as Gran Quivira, and have government permission to shoot scenes there during the filming of “Bobby Joe and the Outlaw Man”, a full run movie with “Marjo”, a noted actor, playing the lead. Shooting is to begin in August.
