Shelton, collector of the revenue of Lincoln county,Missouri, Plaintiff, | Taxes.vs,Absalom Davis or bis4u known heirs, DefendanNOW on this 16th day of July, 1885, comes the plaintiff by his attorney before the undersigned, clerk of the circuit court in vacation and files his petition verified by affidavit, stating, among other things that Absalom Davis or his unknown heirs, are non-residents of the state of Missouri and asks an order of publication notifying said nonresident defendants of the commencement of this suit, the object and general nature of which is to obtain judgment against said defendants on a certain tax bill dated the 16th day of June 1885, and filed with said petition for the sum of 916.49 with interest and costs, the sam£ leing taxes on Fifteen (15) acres, the central part of the southwest quarter of the south west quarter of section twenty-eight township fifty (5lt;,) range three ( . west, lying and being situate in the county and state aforesaid.For the years of 1877, 1878, 1879, 1880, 1881,1882 and 18H3, and to* enforce the lien of said taxes, interest and costs against said real estate which is ow nedby said defendants.
