(AP) - Joseph Sica, a reputed leader of the crime family that reportedly controls most organized crime in Western Pennsylvania, has died. He was 83.At the request of Sica's immediate family, the cause of his death Saturday was not released.The Pennsylvania Crime Commission of 1990 said Sica controlled mcb activities in the Pittsburgh suburbs of Wilmerdir.g and Turtle Creek and was legal counsel for the LaRoeca-Genovese crime family. It reported the mob group controlled most organized crime activities in the western region of the state.Sica was convicted of extortion and served 11 months of a five-year sentence in 1978. He was acquitted in 1W9 in connection with an alleged conspiracy involving kickbacks on a mortgage loan from a Teamsters union pension fund.The commission said he attendeda meeting in late 1986 in Monroeville with the Bruno-Scarfo and LaRoOca families.Criminal attorney John L.
