TWO STILLS, THREE MEN CAPTURED AT BASSETTI’S/♦''/Enforcement Officers Weselsky, Briggs and McCabe yesterday morning raided the S. Bassetti ranch a few miles this side of Cloverdale and captured a 75-gallon still, a 100-gallon still, a ion of sugar and a quantity of barley and cornmeal, together with some moonshine liquor.The outfit was located in a canyon about a quarter of a mile from the house near a springThe men were Antonio Baisi, his son, Armando, aged about 18 years, and Benditto Fraricisehi, who was acting as distiller. Balsi has the Bassetti place rented.Balsi will plead to guilty to possession of liquor before Judge Clendenin of Hopland and the boy will probably bo placed in charge of the juvenile court and placed on pro-4bation.Francischi, according to the sheriff’s office, has been convicted in both Sonoma and Humboldt coun-9ties on similar charges. He intends to plead not guilty and stand trial.
