Four HomeBurglariesReportedFour burglaries were reported during the week-end to Chicago Heights police.Two of the burglaries were reported Saturday night. Calla Alexander of 580 West Hickory street notified police that herapartment was entered.The woman said 18 pieces ofchina were stolen from a cabinet in her apartment. Hntrv into the apartment apparently was gained by use of a key, according t© police.HERBERT THOMAS of 1040 Yale avenue told police he left home about 4 p.m. Saturday, locking all the doors and windows.Thomas said when he returned about 11 p.m. he found two windows were open. He said* the bedrooms in his home were ransacked and a portable television set was stolen.One break-in was reported Sunday morning. Magnolia Williams of 1100 Wentworth avenue told police her apartment was entered and a .22 calibre revolver was stolen from her purse, which she left on a tablein the living room.The fourth burglary was reported at 12:40 a.in. Monday morning by William Schnittker of 608 Andover drive, accordingto police.Schnittker said he and his familv were out of town for the dav and when thev returned home they discovered the bur-glary.Entry was gained bybreaking out a plate glass window at the front of his home, Schnittker said. Several rooms were ransacked and about $.10in change was stolen, he said.
