Bride Charged as Husband*s SlayertitlCharged with fatally shooting Joseph Edward Smith, tiffin Rankin, Texas, hanker on July 7. the former Mrs Opal Lillian Stewart, (rtght*, of this city, revealed after her arrest that she and Smith were secretly married two days before the fatality. Mrs Smith, who will be remembered here as Miss Opal Mnae, claimed self defense. Mrs. Smith is the daughter of J. T.
