Nicholas Katzenbach says the government fight against organized crime faltered forseveral months but has regained its momentum and should yield impressive resultssoon.lie regards the effort against crime of all kinds as his most important task in the Depart-1 merit of Justice.He is convinced that the commitment of J. Edgar Hoover and the Federal Bureau of In-, vestigation in combating theorganized underworld is “beyond question.”He feels that the most serious threat posed by recent disclosures of unauthorized wiretapping is that it could kill the morale of Internal Revenue Serviceble for 60 per cent of organizedcrime prosecutions.Katzenbach, attorney general since February but bead of the department since the resignation of Robert F.
