Klliott. local pastor was I about to open his sermon Sundayevening at the Church of ChristTabernacle, a hooded man enteredthe church, walked to the pulpit down the north aisle, handed Mr. Klliott two envelopes and made hisexit down the south aisle.One of the envelopes containedthe following message:“Dr. Klliott—Dear Sir: We, thecitizens of the Invisible Empire,! Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, do hereby offer this small token of our appreciation for the courtesy you extended us for the use of your church this.
