As they were doing so next to a concrete retaining wall, McCutchen allegedly threw a beer.“Someone threw a mostly full open can of beer at the officer who had jumped in the water,” Ferguson said. “It hit the concrete retaining wall about six inches from his head, so close that beer was sprayed onto his face.”He said an officer saw McCutchen throw the can and so police arrested him after he tried swimming and floating away.A jail spokesman said Votano and McCutchen each posted $6,750 bond Sunday and they were re leased from the facility.
