Gil Hodges, Michaels, and a number of other officers.There were unconfirmed reports Monday night that unidentifed persons had asked about Blye at the hospital before he and another prisoner were brought to the emergency room for treatment of illnesses they claimed to have.It was not known if the person asking about Blye at the hospital could have been involved in the escape. The Times-News learned, however, that deputies guardingBlye had been warned to be alert for a possible escape attempt.When last seen, the five-foot-elcven-inch, 150-lb. black man was wearing blue jeans and a white T” shirt.Late Monday, officers svere still pressing the search for Blye. ‘Til get him back. One jailer said he didn’t know what was wrong with Blye only that a note had been left by the day-shift jailer instructing night shift to have him transported to the hospital for treatment.One officer said he understood that Blye was brought to the hospital to have X-rays made.
