HINKLE SPOILS SPECTACLEEOlt KLl K AT SANTA KOSASanta Fe, July 13.—That Governor Hinkle is on the alert to see that the Ku Klux Klan does not raise its head openly in this state is indicated by his prompt action in writing Sheriff Ernest Simpson of Quay county not to permit a proposed klan demonstration in Tucumcari for July 13. A Tucumcari resident sent the governor a copy of a handbill announcing a “public demonstration exhibition of the fiery cross and initiation of aliens/' and while the executive said the date indicated it might be a hoax, he was taking no chances. He called the sheriff's attention to the law passed by the last legislative session outlawing the klan and in-| structed him specifically that it was \ his duty to see that the law was en-; forced.o
