It appears that a man named Greenville Boston and two young men named Bym had some eimeulty in a groce ry in Byrnville in the evening; after drinking some time, Boston left the house and proceeded towards his home, followed by the Byrns and another individual whose name we did not learn. After arriving at his house, Boston armed himself with a shot gun and proceeded to the door where he was met by the Byrns. who commenced j t firing at Boston with a revolver. Bos-; 1 ion then raised his gun and deliberate- j s ly shot William Byrn. killing him al- j s most instantly. Boston then came to j n Uorydon and gave himself into the custody of the Sheriff and is now in jail.
