FEAR MORE TROUBLEWhite Man Arrested at Eldorado for An Alleged Assault On Negress.Carbondaio, 111.* July 17 (Special.)— It Ih believed at Eldorado that the riot due to the feeling between the races willbe renewed as soon as th»* cordon of militia now on guard la withdrawn. There seams to exist a determinal ion to rid the vicinity of all colored people. Tina condition is brought on by the arrest of (eorge Johnston, thought to bo one of the leaders in the rioting, charged with an attempted assault on the daughter of Mrs. Louise Toba, a colored woman* whose daughter, Mrs. Mary Harding, was on route from Duluth* Minn., to visit her mouther, who whh on her death-led. Johnston, who Is a porter, was* her guide to her mother's home. The arrest was made yesterday by a constable, the city marshal refusing to serve the papers. Tills Is the first arrest in connection with the recent race trouble and there is much uneasiness here.
