Dental records may be needed to identify bodyPolice mav have to use den-%tal records to identify the body pulled out of the Assiniboine River Sunday evening. An autopsy Monday showed the middle-aged man drowned, but his body — reportedly clad only in pyjamas and socks — was too badly decomposed to take fingerprints, said RCMP Staff Sgt. Bob Granger.A second RCMP spokesman said the body appeared to have been in the water 10 days.Staff Sgt. Granger said foul play is not suspected in the death. He did not know how long it would take to identify the man.He said the lack of positive identification meant they could not say whether the man is a missing Brandon Mental Health Centre patient.“We will be a little while. We haven't been able to rule out anything.”The dead man was discovered floating at the side of the river, about one kilometre east of Brandon, by people fishing at a picnic ground.
