T/iXnS MADDERS AFTER A FIGHTHo sea Badders, 35, of South Court street was arrested for intoxication by Patrolman Murray after a hard fight on East Washington street Wednesday evening about 7 o'clock. Baciders resisted arrest and a fight ensued which lasted about fifteen or twenty minutes and caused a great deal of excitement along the street before Murray quieted his man with a beating and landed him in jail.Patrolman Murray was sitting in front of the city hall wtoen Badders went b}u coming from the direction of the public square and going east on Washington street. Badders stopped and asked Murray for a match. }It was easily seen, according to the j officer, that Badders had been drink- j ing and Murray, advised him to go jhome and get off the street. Badders♦went on 'clown the walk and sat down on the curbing, at the side of theSimmons Peed Store, mumbling to himself. Murray, who was watching him, walked down to where he was and told him to move on. Badders arose and continued eastward.
