S o m e of the stoneswere rare cut pieces of opal and jade and also included rubiesand sapphires.Tony Garcia, 3691 Las Vegas Blvd. South, listed a kitchen range, telephone, chrome towelrack, back yard swing set and barbecue grill missing from the premises. Thieves apparentlyentered by breaking out awindow.Dr. William Scheer, 824 E. Sahara, said someone broke into1 his office, but apparently tooknothing. Police speculated the bandit was after narcotics.
