Police said chargeswill be filed unon receiving aAnyone with information on any unsolved crimes in Clearfield County can call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at1 -800-376-4700.Arson suspected in Winburne structure fireWINBURNE - Arson is suspected in a blaze yesterday that destroyed an unoccupied house in Winburne.Officials at the scene said a juvenile was seen leaving the home and Morris-Cooper Regional Police Chief Mike Polachek is investigating the fire as an arson.Winburne Fire Co. was called at 11:20 a.m. for the blaze at the house owned by Stephanie Biggins, Drifting and Ron Lyncha of Ohio.Fire company secretary Phyllis Rowles said she was driving home before the fire was reported when a youth stopped her and said a house was on fire.She stopped at the fireball and took a fire truck to the scene to find the house fully engulfed.The fire was reported by a neighbor.The house was empty for five years and high grass and trees also burned adjacent to it.Firefighters thanked Winburne Fire Co. ladies auxiliary for the donation of sandwiches and Jackson’s Bar, Winburne, for soda.Morris Township and Philips-burg’s Reliance fire companies also responded. Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Service also responded.
