STANDOFF-FROM PAGE 1AMorgan, and law enforcement officials refused to let her return to the house, she was taken by two officersto a neighbor’s house where she talked to Lowe on the phone.According to Chief Bost, “she had only said a few words’’ when the waiting officers heard a gunshot. Lowe had held the revolver to his lower right side and pulled the trigger.Bost said he was in the house almost * by the time he (Lowe) hit the floor,” and noted Lowe didn't say a word before C M Ambulance arrived.Lowe was listed in good condition this morning at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital where he was taken following the shooting.
