The dogs took up the scent and circled the house a number of times but didnot leave the premises.Mr. Schultze Is of the opinion that the oil soaked , rags had been carried into the house from the outside as a screen had been. removfed from one of the windows, when the discovery was first made. jThe repeated attempts to destroy the Sckultzp home is. a mystery yet to be solved. In April Mr. Schultze received several letters in which hie life was threatened, then followed a series of fires at the farm. The% 4 *first Was on Memorial Day and was extinguished before much damage was done. On June 21st there was a half dozen fires at the Schultze plbcedn one day and both the house and barn were threatened.
