He went to Kenn, ami received another noiiee to leave: thence to Kureka, ami was there ordered off. An anonymous letter received in this eity from Kureka a few days afterward stated that Geo. Kirk had been ordered away by the citizens of that tow n, and that he had left for (.’arson City, on foot, swearing that he intended to kill a certain man (resident here) on sight. Kirk arrived the same day the letter did, and has been closely watched ever since. He ventured up to Virginia a tew weeks since, but returned the same day. fearing that tinder the cover ol darkness the Vigilantes would hang him. He left here by the 4 o’clock train Thursday evening, and was hanged a few hours afterward. -Just before leaving. In* asked a young man in Inis city if he thought the \ igi iantes would hang him if he went to Virginia and remained over night. The answer was in a jocular tone, hut only too true: “Certainly they will— and ought to.”Unlucky.—Some time since Nasbystarted to Pine drove from Genoa^but on reaching Wellington’s helearned of the existence of a Vigilance Committee at the Grove and turned back. Yesterday morning he started to Virginia 011 Billy Wilson’s stage, but hearing of the hanging of Kirk by the Vigilantes, he concluded it would not be safe for him to go farther than Gold Ilill. There is also a committee at Reno—and we cannot see how Nasby is to escape from the Ktate by any of the popular lines of tjravel.
