First, JatnesSpil-raan was taken up and fined $5 and costs for being drank, and be (Spil-mao) testified that he got his whisky from S. Goad. ho was brought be*foro his honor, £sq. Chambers, and fined £5 and costs; and the next ondocket was Dr. D. L. Her, of Pike• *county, arrested and brought beforehis Honor, Esq. Wilson, for assault« *upon John Skinner, also of Pike county, tried and fined £3 and costs. In default of payment or replevin he was sent to jail at Boonville. where he will have time to sober off; after which, it is to be hoped, he will retaro to his home a wiser and perhaps a belter man.
