Justice Brackin’s Docket Re port Is Made Three charges of murder, two of assault to murder, and two of rob bery with firearms marked the fel ony docket of Justice J. K. Brackin during June, his report Saturday disclosed. Two of the murder charges and both of those for assault to mur der were against Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Fountain as the result of the killing of Mrs. Jessie Kahnfeld and the shooting of her husband, Frank Kahnfeld, at Port Acres. The third homicide charge was lodged against Harrison Obey, negro, for the fatal shooting of his wife, LB. L. McGee and T. L. King, Texas Company re finery workers, were defendants in the robbery cases as the result of two hijackings on highways near the city. Lee Wilkins was charged with felony theft during the month and in default of $1,000 bong was re moved to the county jail to await action of the grand jury. Another charge filed before Brackin was against Louis Zamarita and alleged illegal disposition of mortgaged prop erty. He is in the county jail in de fault of $500 bond. Julius Kinard is held in jail following his failure to make $1000 bond on a burglary charge. Roy Freeman is at liberty under $500 bond in a liquor posses sion case.
