\!1 FULLERTON, July 11. — An-' 1 nouncement that paving bad begun• on the Manchester boulevard in■ Los Angeles county was made today at the meeting of the board ofI directors of the chamber of com; merce in a communication from ! . the Greater Manchester Boulevard Improvement association.; The association declared that'i rights of way had been granted■ from Downey to the Orange county• line, and that a highway to Or-• ange county was assured. That aII boulevard 80 feet in width, lead-i ing into Fullerton, was sufficient! for the present time was announc--1 ed by the association.! At the director’s meeting, the , resignations of E. J. Marks, Rev.; I Walter Thornton and Robert Cor-- coran were accepted, and Sam L.! Collins. Walter Cadman aud W.N. Rollo were chosen to fill the . empty chairs. Rev. Thornton is L leaving the city for other work,, and was forced to resign, Corcoran : . resigned because of sickness, and . Marks because of his recent ap-. pointment to the superior court in• Santa Ana.
