Frederick Drummond is off the air.- Drummond’s ‘Triumphant* 16-minute program over WTMR (800 ABO in Camden, NJ. will not air tomorrow because of the minister's ill health” according to a radio station spokesperson. Last Friday marked the last radio broadcast.A spokeswoman for WTMR said Drummond unexpectedly called and told the station manager the program could not continue “due to ill health.“He said his doctor advised him not to continue the program,” the spokeswoman said. He said that's why he had to cancel his television program, too.“We ought to pray for Dr. Drummond’s health to return so we can get him back on the air,” she added.Financial reasons were cited by the minister as responsible for the cancelation of his 'Triumphant” television program. The following week he mentioned the $100,000 again, looked directly into the camera and told the viewing audience if they were that person, “you better give it up.”Officials from the church did not return a phone call yesterday to explain why the “Triumphant program is off the air.During Drummond’s last telecast, he promised his television eudienoe that the program would return for a full hour in the fall and would be videotaped from theConcordville church campus.Drummond had a second radio program on WZZD (990 AM) which was canceled In April just after the Valley Forge Music Fair was successful in evicting the church from the theater. The church had been holding its Sunday morning worship services at the theater for several weeks and had hoped to continue for several years when the eviction notice came.A spokeswoman for WZZD said the church canceled the program due to financial problems.
