bulls broke the rules and turnedEx-mayor’s Son Faces Charges Of Murder, RapeBolSANTA CRUZ (UPI) — The 20-year-old son of a former South San Francisco mayor was charged formally this week in Santa Cruz Superior Court with the murder of his wife and the rape of her 13-year-old sister.Lynn Smith, who now lives in Redwood City, is the son of South San Francisco industrialist Telford Smith.Superior Court Judge Gilbert Perry continued the case to July 28 to enable Smith's attorney, John Cost, to review the grand jury transcript.Smith was accused of strangling, shooting and stabbing his wife, Linda, at a Corralitos ranch house June 27. His wife’s sister, Letha Toomsen, who was visiting from Hampton, Iowa, told the grand jury that Smith tied her to a bed and raped her while her sister was dying of wounds on the bedroom floor.clritlwc0
