FAIR VIEWFairview, June 30.—MrsWalker returned on Tuesday’s train after spending the past week in Edmonton.Born to Mr. and Mrs. FredThompson at the Fairview hospital on June 21, a daughter.Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Murray, accompanied by H. J. Malkinson left by car for Edmonton and other outside points on Sunrlay.Miss H Ketter and Miss V.Kennedy left on Tuesday’s train for Edmonton.Messrsof the Fairview high school statf, have left for Edmonton.M rs. Gunn, of Clear Prairie,left on Tuesday for Saskatoon. One of the largest and most enjoyable dances ever held in Fairview was sponsored by W. P.Loggie on Friday last and held in the new hardware store which isnearly completed. Between three and four hundred guests from all parts of the country enjoyed the fine floor and exceedingly goodmusic. At midnight luncheon was served to those present and was not till daybreak that thedance broke up amid hearty votes of thanks to Mr. and Mrs. LoggieMrs. Lydell, of Grande Prairie, formerly of Peace River, has beenvisiting friends here for several I J'41 days.
