WICHITA DAILY TIMEWEDNESDAY, JVLY 10. 1935i***SQUEALING TRAINED PIG ANDSMELLY GOAT LEAD TO ARREST OF MASTER ON KIDNAP CHARGESAPULPA. Okla.. July 10. (UP) —A squealing trained pig and ableating rather smelly goat led their master, George Fisher, into an affair that ended with a Lindbergh law charge against him, G-men disclosed today.Fisher, an itinerant scissors grinder, was taken to Tulsa to be held until ho provides $25,000 bail. He sniffed at the idea of hia providing it.The government alleged that he inveigled, decoyed, confined, kidnaped and carried away across a state line 13-year-old Dona Mae Kltterman of Sapulpa. The state charges the same thing.Down in Tc?pcaa the pig and goat were blithely unaware of the part they played in the case. As federal agents outlined the story, it was the pig and goat that drew the child to Fishor and the pig that drew a keen-eyed Texas sheriff’s attention to Fisher.Thera's something startling, all right, in a pig wearing sandwich boards or oilcloth signs and held in leash by a stoop-shouldered, elderly fellow such as Fishor.He denied, however, as he fumbled for his tobacco pouch in a sweltering cell, that the pig was intended to attract children and said he was just a good Samaritan who had been wronged.Stories DifferFisher’s story was that he picked the child up on a sunbaked highway in Texas. He was worried about what would become of his pets, left behind at Weatherford. Texas, whore he was located last Saturday after a week's search of the Southwest.The girl was with him. Fisher said the child told him the women took her from Sapulpa and put her out near Valley View. The child said Fisher made her get out of his car at the interstate bridge over the Red river and walk ahead of him into Texas and that two women assisted hoi over the bridge.
