Hold Two Suspects In Oxford TheftEfforts to sell, in Cincinnati' im electric sanding machine, such as is used on wooden floors, led to arrest of two men as suspects in a robberyMay 20 at a bungalow being builtby Perry Bock over, near Oxford, Sheriff John C. Schumacher disclosed today.The suspects were traced io Dayton, and following arrest there were arraigned in the mayor's court at Oxford, pleaded not guilty and were held to the grand jury under $1,000 bond each. They were taken lo the jail in Hamilton pending efforts to provide the bonds.The suspcels registered as W. L. Gullcttc and Vernon Marcum. According to the charge of burglary, they allegedly entered the Bockovur bungalow while workmen were absent and took the sanding machine, valued at $2(10, gii electric saw filer, two electric gears, one chandelier, a box full of tools and a shotgun. Traced By HumberSome of the loot was recovered'by Schumacher and Deputy Mark Du err.Clever detective work entered into the case, Bookovcr had a notation of the factory number on fhe sanding machine, and consulted with tho manufacturers after it was stolen. Soon after tho robbery a sanding machine, later found to have the same serial number, was offered for sale in. Cincinnati at “bargain price.” The prospective buyer was suspicious and notified the fnctory whore officers obtained the names of Gullette and Marcum.
