Lucy Hicks Freed From Ventura County JailLucy Hicks, well known Oxnard nogross, who was arrested hv Deputy Sheriff Charles Clements in the county wide cleanup on April 25 and convicted of three separate charges ofpossession of liquor, was paroled Saturday, after serving 15 days of three concurrent fh) da\ sentences. Miss Hicks plead not guilty and asked for a jury trial, which in short order found her guilty on all three charges, on Mav 11. She was sentenced onAMay 22 by Judge Kdward Henderson, to fd) days on each count.Other prisoners who have cut their sentences in half by workiifg on roadgangs and who will be paroled are Oviaio Orduuo, \ugustine Aquirre and Richard Tana.—-o-
