Incze, assessor for Davenport township, reported unfavorably upon the petition of Monroe Phillips, wherein the petitioner claims to have been erroneously assessed. Report accepted and petition not granted.The clerk laid before the Board the Orphans’ Home bill of May, 1901, for $216.77. Ordered transferred.Also the bill of Feeble Minded Children of $121.99 for the quarter endin June 30th, 1901. Ordered transferred.Resolved, That the application of Mary Gadient for the admission of Walter, Julius and Edward Gadient to the Orphans’ Home be and is hereby approved.The committee on highways to whom was referred the matter of Mr. Otto’s railway crossing, reported that no satisfactory arrangements could be made with the C. R. I. . P. Ry. Co. On motion the matter was referred to the county attorney for the purpose of bringing proceedings to put the said highway in a safe and satisfactory condition.
