Woman in stable condition after being stabbedAn Oak River man appeared in Brandon provincial court Monday to face charges after a woman was stabbed.The 25-year-old man from Oak River is in police custody following a stabbing in the zero block of Ninth Street on July 6.At about 6:30 p.m., police responded to the area, after reports a 30-year-old woman had been attacked.The victim was stabbed in the neck area and was taken to the Brandon Regional Health Centre, say police.She is in stable condition at the hospital.The case was remanded until July 14.Kirk Dean Darroch, 25, faces an attempted murder charge.
