Both rulings have been appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.In May 1982, Davis had a friend drive him to his parents’ house in Jacksonville so that he could break into a neighbor’s home.Meanwhile, an Orlando judge reviewing Provenzano’s request for an evidentiary hearing into his sanity denied the motion Wednesday afternoon.Provenzano’s lawyers appealed that ruling to the Florida Supreme Court.
