Drys‘Raid BarIn Calumet ParkProhibition raiders arrested a bar tender at 12330 South Halsted St. in the village of Calumet Park. Joseph DeYoung as well as his son Alexander were placed in jail because they operated their parlor when the federal agents believed it closed.Calumet Park formerly called Burr Oak was one time named DeYoung, after the ancestors of the men now injail. The windows of the building had been plastered so as to conceal the operations going on within. T’le dry agents found mail in the building addressed to Senator Edward Sullivan.
