Prohibition raiders arrested a bar tender at 12330 South Halstcd SI. in thi! village of Calumet Park. Joseph DeYoung as well as his non Alexander were placed in jail because they oper nted their parlor when the federal agents believed it closed.Calumet Park formerly called Burr Oak was one time named DeYoung, after the ancestors of the men now in jail. The windows of the building had betm plastered so as to concealthe operations going on within. The dry agents found mail in the buildingaddressed to Senator Kdward Sullivan.
