TbhkiB'B Accidsnt.—We learn that a inau named Patrick Gleason fail from rhe top of the derrick, a distance of 62 feat, at the Hega Turbel) well, on the Shaw farm, Thursday afternoon, receiving fearful injuries* which wilt probably result fatally. He had gone up to the top of the derrick for »ome unknown pur-po-e during the heavy rain, and starting oozn*'down it in supposed slipped and foil. His body struck the walking beam on it* downward r.onrec, and^^ence bounded oil filling on the derricdrfloor, bis head sinking a block near the conductor bole. Gleason1 s shoulder is brok'n, one urm Btnashed, is terribly bruised abont the back, and bA» a portion of bis ?calp torn off, and it is thought baa received internal injuries of a serious-nature, He_ will probably not recover.— Pet.
