Miss Jessie McCleod Cavanaugh, 95, Westover Retirement Residence, died Saturday at 5:45 p.m.She was born in Covington, Kv,, a daughter of Dan ana Anna Jane McCleod Cavanaugh.Miss Cavanaugh graduated from Hamilton High School in 1898. She studied voice and piano in Dayton, Cincinnati and the Chicago New School Methods. She served as supervisor of music for Hamilton schools and organized the first junior high school orchestra in 1929.During the 1913 flood, she helped to develop the Red Cross and later the junior Red Cross. She was a life member of the Red Cross.Miss Cavanaugh was a Ufe-member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, and the Hamilton Women's Chorus, Survivors include a niece, Miss Jane Howe, Hamilton; a nephew, Milton Cavanaugh, San -Antonio, Tex.Graveside services Tuesday at 19 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery.No visitation.In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to Westover Retirement Residence , or Trinity Episcopal Church in Miss Cavanaugh’s memory.TheKlaus-Weige!
