Snake Waters Still High, Others Drop1DA110 FALLS (AP) - Snake River's South Fork continued Tuesday la pound high on its bank, although other streams have dropped abruptly, Snake River Water master Arthur L. Palisades Reservoir now has risen to 1,181,000 acre feel, or within 20,000 of capacity. * ;Jackson Lake Is brim full at 853,900 acre feet, \vhich is actually 837,000 acre feet considered capacity.That means we only have a Utile space left in Palisades and this is unusual for this late in the season, Larson said.The. outflow at Jackson has increased to 6,930-second feet, compared wifii 2,000 a week ago.The river flow at Idaho Falls and Shelley, however, lias subsided to 18,600 second feet, compared with the high of 24,600 second feel a week ago, ’Larson said tliis drop is due to a sharp lowering of Henry's Fork, Hie North Fork , of the Snake Fiver, and farmers using irrigation supply.
