Harrison torepresent Charles Frank King, Negro, when he goes on trial in 6th District Court on an indictment alleging murder.King was charged with murder in connection with the death of Mrs. Ella B. Hamner, 74, M.iy 27, in an indictment returned by the grand jury forthe January term of 6th District court June 29,No date has been set for the trial of King on the murdercharge but it was indicated thetrial mignt be set for late August or early September.King has been in jail since his arrest May 30 as he soughtshelter from a torrential lam in a barn north of Ector.The court i* empowered to appoint an attorney in a criminal case whore a defendant is unable to employ an attorney todefend his interests in the trial.
