Clark, Ottumwa, was fined $10 for driving a car without brakes, and Charles Evans, route 5, was fined $5 for havingno driver’s license.Ira Adams, Ottumwa, facing an intoxication charge, was sentenced to 45 days in jail on former charges.Harold Hanshaw', Ottumwa, was assessed a $10 suspended fine and Harry Thrasher, route 7, was fined $5 for intoxication. Fred Phillips, Chicago, and Walter Bandfiled, Ottumwa, charged with being drunk, and Edward Williams, Joliet, 111., charged with vagrancy, were sentenced to 30-day suspended terms.
