I Suspect In Montague I Extortion Case Freed! -iNocona, Texas, June 30.-Three suspects placed in the Montague county jail at Mmtague June 22, in an investigation of an attemptto extort $500 from Mr and Mrs.Birdie Rich of Montagne county,I were released Saturday under, I orders of Cou.ity Attorney Glen Wilson.Officers who have conductedian intensive investigation of thecase since the family received apenciled threat signed by “The Three Black Crows’’ said insuffi-cient evidence had been found to hold the trio.i The suspects were ttvo menand a girl, wife of one of the men. They were arrested earlyJune 22, on the highway 5bridge on Belknap creek, where the threatening note had instructed the family to place $500. The three were camping in the area.The note had threatened harmto the Rich’s 2 year old adopted daughter, Bonnie unless the money was left as directed.
