A man by the name ;f George Liston and believed to be :he same man, worked for the Sulli-i\n County Water Company on their ines a few weeks ago. He has lived n and around Sullivan at intervals :or years. The Star says:As a result of a fist fight early yes-erday morning near a saloon at First tnd Eagle streets, George C. Liston, i3 years old, is believed to be dying it St. Anthony’s Hospital and George Forney. Liston’s assailant, is in jail :harged with assault and battery. In jvent of Liston’s death the charge nay be changed to murder.Liston was badly beaten up. His ace was severely bruised and he received several bad bruises in falling muer the blows delivered by his ounger opponent. After the fight dorney eluded the police, while Lis-un was arrested and sent to jail barged with intoxication. Last night towever, Liston’s condition became o serious that he was taken to the lospita! and the police renewed theirefforts to find Morney.Morney was arrested late last night n Highland Place by Patrolmen Mc-jojighlin and Smith. Morney admit-ed that he was the aggressor in the ight. but declared Liston had made mproper advances to Mrs. Morney *nd her doughter.
