1C Sunday, July 3,1994Police, Fire LoaFireworks seizedPffiDMONT, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police on Friday executed a search warrant at a home on Orchard Street, seizing 37 cases of fireworks worth an estimated $10,000.On Saturday police charged Jack Amoruso, 29, of Ashfield Street, Piedmont, with possession of fireworks and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police said Mr. Amoruso had stored the fireworks at the home of a relative, who will not be charged. They do not know where he obtained the fireworks.According to police, only sparklers are legal in West Virginia.The investigation began after area residents complained that children were buying fireworks near the Piedmont pool.
