Kennedy kin won't pay, cops sayNEW YORK (UPI) - Stephen Smith, the wealthy brother-in-law of the late President Kennedy and business manager for much of the Kennedy millions, goes to court in three weeks to answer a charge that he refused to pay a cabby SO cents.Smith, of 1030 Fifth Ave., was booked at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of “theft of service” after he refused to pay the cabbie the 60 cents.The driver told police that he picked up Smith at Madison Avenue and 70th Street at about midnight and was told to drive to a night spot on 55th Street near Sutton Place South.However. Smith pointed out to the cabby that he made a wrong turn on Madison Avenue, police said, and the cabby turned off his meter — which read 60 cents — and took Smith the rest of the way to the club with no additional charge.
