Father of 13 Slain NearAlbion by Shotgun BlastsALBION. OT—Two shotgun blasts ripped thru the side of an automobile early yesterday, fatally wounding a 56-year-old father of 13.William Larson of Waterport was driving home from work at the Batavia veterans hospital where he was am attendant. On a lonely stretch of road about five miles south of Albion, an unknown assailant struck.Shots HeardPassersby discovered the bodyabout 12.30 a. m. slumped over thewheel of the auto. Nearby residentstold police they recalled havingheard shots about midnight.Orleans county Sheriff Carl C Klelndicnst said there was a trail of blood for half a mile leading tothe spot where the vehicle was found with its lights still burning dimly. One charge crashed thru the window and roof on the drivers1 side and the other tore thru the door and struck Larson in the left side.Authorities still are at a loss for a motive. Kleindienst said there was no indication of robbery.
